Status: Offline / Historic Archive

ontoottawa.ca is a historical archive web project developed for the On to Ottawa Historical Society. Key Details & Contributions

  • Architecture: Developed as a classic web platform utilizing HTML framesets to organize and present historical data, photos, video resources, and anniversary updates.
  • Purpose: Created to keep alive the spirit, memories, and lessons of the historic trek for the society.

This is a very simple html e-commerce site that sells only one product.
This is one of the few sites that I a have done that I take credit for the graphic design. The design for this is minimalist bit I am happy with it.

This project was a very successful one. Cyclists registered on the site. They formed teams and logged the kilometers that they rode on their way to and from work.

This application integrated with a custom built calculator application (built by Passion for Action) that tracked the distances of the individual riders and teams. The site gives participating riders an indication of what kind of positive environmental impact they are having by using the bikes instead of their cars.

Client: Canadian Public Health Association

Status: Offline / Historic Archive

This is a vintage look back at a unique, multi-lingual digital campaign developed for the Canadian Public Health Association. Built during the early days of interactive web design, this legacy HTML site was designed to engage audiences across three distinct languages: English, French, and Inuktitut.

While the live campaign is now officially offline, it remains preserved here as a cool, historic snapshot of early public health outreach in Canada. It stands as a testament to localized digital design, complete with its original retro layout and localized resource guides.
